Nan Cohen is the author of Unfinished City, which won the inaugural Michael Dryden Prize from Gunpowder Press in 2017; Rope Bridge (Cherry Grove Collections, 2005); and a chapbook, Thousand-Year-Old Words (Glass Lyre, 2021).  A past Wallace Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer at Stanford University, she has received a Rona Jaffe Writer’s Award and a Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. She lives in Los Angeles and co-directs the poetry programs of the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference.
