Keith Ekiss

Keith Ekiss is a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. In addition to Burial Fragments (Gunpowder Press, 2025, winner of the Barry Spacks Poetry Prize), he is the author of Pima Road Notebook and translator of two books by the Costa Rican poet Eunice Odio: The Fire’s Journey, an epic poem in four volumes; and Territory of Dawn: The Selected Poems of Eunice Odio. He is the past recipient of fellowships and residencies from the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Community of Writers’ Conference, Millay Colony for the Arts, Santa Fe Art Institute, and the Petrified Forest National Park.
