Glenn Freeman

Selected by Stephen Dunn as winner of the 2019 Spacks Prize for his book Drinking with O’Hara, Glenn Freeman has published three previous books: Fading Proofs (2006), Keeping the Tigers Behind Us (2007), and Traveling Light (2011). His poems have been published in journals such as Poetry, The Cimarron Review, Water-Stone Review, Able Muse, and Rattle. He has degrees from Goddard College, Vermont College, and the University of Florida. He teaches writing and American literature and directs the low-residency MFA at Cornell College in Iowa.
